The Armenian media have reported the defense ministry as saying in a statement that the Azerbaijani forces started shooting at an Armenian post near Nerkin Hand in Syunik in the early morning of Tuesday, as a result of which four Armenian soldiers were killed and one was wounded.
Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani side has said that that number of Armenian Armed Forces servicemen were killed while they were "attempting to provoke a breach of the ceasefire along the Gafan district of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border."
The 1 wounded soldier is currently in non-life-threatening condition, the Armenian defense ministry said.
